WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?
Check out the yoga therapy page here.
WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Check out the Shamanic Breathwork page here.
DOES IT WORK ONLINE?
Yes! It's amazing how well this work translates online. Much of the power of this work comes through directing our attention in a specific way which is done equally online or in person. There are even benefits that you wouldn't have in person such as the convenience of not traveling and being in the privacy and comfort of your own space. In person you have the benefits of physical assistance so they're different rather than better or worse.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE?
Almost everyone can benefit from these modalities which each contain various techniques. Some sessions, classes or specific techniques may be contraindicated for certain health conditions.
Private sessions include a thorough discussion about your health situation and enable the session to be tailored to your needs. Group classes and events are facilitated to offer options for varying circumstances within reason in a group setting so must be undertaken with your own common sense regard to your personal situation.

There are cases where it's better to wait until certain conditions have subsided before participating. If you are unsure of suitability and would like to discuss prior to booking, please get in touch and consult your trusted healthcare or medical practitioner where required.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW TO PREPARE FOR A CLASS or PRIVATE SESSION?
Drink plenty of water throughout the day
Avoid eating a large meal within 1-2 hours of your session or class
Wear clothing that you can comfortably and freely move and breath in
Have your journal on hand for after the session if you're the journalling type
Everybody responds differently but it is recommended not to schedule anything taxing after a full private yoga therapy or breathwork session, especially if it's your first time. If at all possible, take some extra time out to integrate the experience
Avoid driving or using machinery after a full breathwork session
HOW WILL I FEEL AFTER A BREATHWORK OR YOGA THERAPY SESSION?
It can vary greatly from person to person and session to session. Expect to need some self-care time afterwards just in case. Other self-care activities such as a massage, time in nature or connecting with a trusted friend are fantastic after a breathwork or yoga therapy session.

-
Have props handy as required (bolster or cushions/pillows, strap or belt/scarf)
All other classes

Have the camera set up as best possible (there can be limitations in your environment of course, do the best you can) for a clear view of your practice and so you can also see the screen when facing forward down the length of the mat.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED AT HOME FOR ONLINE GROUP CLASSES?
It depends slightly on the class and your preferences and thankfully most props (as it's termed in yoga) are things you can find around the house. If you're practicing regularly you may like to invest in a few dedicated props. Get in touch if you'd like recommendations.
